How to Play
- Each player throws in roughly the same value of assorted coins into the middle.
- Now share them out equally, with any ‘spares’ going into ‘The Pot’.
- Taking turns the first player lays any one of their coins in front of them, in the open, and the next player lays a different coin in front of them and so on in order to win a Set by making the score of 50.
RULES
- For example, Black has just laid and White is pondering their turn.
No two same coins maybe laid in succession in the same Set.- When laying a coin the player calls out the running total; e.g. a 20p is laid then a 10p followed by a 1p. The first player calls “Twenty” and the next player calls “Thirty” and the third calls “Thirty one”. Etc.
- If a player makes exactly 50 they win the Set and take one of the coins in play from each player.
- All the players then take back their remaining coins.
- If a player cannot lay without exceeding 50 they call “Pass” and the previous player wins the prize.
- After a player wins a Set the next player begins the next Set.
- If a player has no more coins they are out.
- If they run out during a Set their coins go into The Pot.
- The winner is the last player still ‘in’ who also wins The Pot.
